Beach bags......Bohemia style

Visiting some Goodwill stores I found a lonely and sad basket. Looking at it, I felt that it would be a perfect project for Beach Bohemia. Idea: finding a basket and lining it with some fun materials...all recycled of course!!!!! I wanted to make linings that hare interchangeable and washable. How many times are linings in desperate need of some washing after a visit to the beach or the pool. Sad seeing a great basket with dirty linings!
Decided on two materials and made two linings....red and blue!!!

Coffee bags usage III

As summer is approaching here in Savannah, I completed some nice accessories for the heat.
All materials are recycled and and usage of coffee bags.
I found that removing the vents in coffee bags can be inserted in fabric tubes...which can be used for necklaces. Another usage for vents that can be used for something nice...

Set II...clutches for spring. Sand gnats are out...which means summer is coming.

Transforming Coffee bags

Beach Bohemia has ventured into reusing coffee bags. So next blogs are dedicated to coffee bags and their transformations. They are fun and full of color.....and free!

So first things first:

Coffee bags were found to be durable, pliable. You will need to remove the coffee oils.....the yummy oils found in your hot coffee.
You will need to use specific adhesives to work with them...Elmer's aint gonna cut it!

Gearing up for the Derby

Beach Bohemia by 512 is gearing up for some Derby fun here in Savannah.

I am looking into revamping some hats,but in the process I found a lonely headband and a bracelet. Made by Lex had some awesome ideas....... all materials used were either curtains, bedsheets or pants in their past lives :) Happy Racing!
